How Our Adoption Process Works
Find Your New Best Friend
Explore dogs available through Homeward Bound by Willowbrook, our rescue partners, and families seeking loving new homes for their pets. Contact us to learn about available dogs and upcoming adoption opportunities.
Complete an Adoption Application
Tell us a little about yourself, your household, your experience with dogs, and what you're looking for in a companion. Applications and requirements may vary depending on who is coordinating the adoption.
Meet Your Potential Match
When possible, we'll help arrange a meet-and-greet so you can spend time with the dog, learn about their personality and needs, and determine whether the match feels right.
Finalize the Adoption
Once a suitable match is confirmed, the organization or individual responsible for the placement will explain any adoption fees, agreements, and remaining requirements before the adoption is finalized.
